We know the world is slowly going back to normal, but there are still some restrictions in place. Please give this section a read before visiting us so you know what we are doing to keep you safe and what to expect from your visit!
We always sanitised our tables after every use- but now we do every table, chair, door handle and everything else you can think of throughout the day! We also leave our tables clear of cutlery and glassware so you can be sure that they haven't been touched throughout the day.
All of our tables have been correctly spaced out to comply with current social distancing guidelines, so please do not move them. Our team will ask you to take your drinks from a tray when serving you to minimise contact and will maintain social distancing whenever practically possible.
Our team wear masks which fit with government guidance on face coverings at all times when working front of house. They are not required to wear masks behind the bar as table service is mandatory so bar staff are not within 2 metres of our guests.
In line with current unlocking guidelines, we are only allowing bookings inside our restaurant for a maximum of 6 people (from any number of households) or two households. Online bookings are for a maximum of 6 people- if you would like to book for more than this, give us a call as we will need to check the number of households in the group.
Our outside seating is able to accommodate groups of up to 30 people from any number of households. We are not taking any bookings for outside and all tables are on a first come, first served basis. Our beer garden seating will only be open on specific days until the requirement for table service has been lifted.
Sit back, relax and let us come to you! All orders and payments are taken at the table so please do not approach the bar as we are not allowed to serve you there. Our team are always happy to talk you through the drinks on offer and help you with anything you may need.
All guests over the age of 16 are now required to check in to our venue individually. The official NHS QR code is displayed at the door and you will only be seated once all members of the party have checked in. If you don't have the NHS app then just let us know and we will take your details manually.
Our restaurant capacity is currently limited due to social distancing requirements so we recommend always booking, especially at busy times. If we are full then we are unable to allow guests to wait at the bar for a table, and if the weather outside turns bad we may not be able to relocate all guests seated outside.
Please wear a face covering unless you are medically exempt. This applies at all times when moving around the premises- entering and exiting, using the toilets and when being seated. You can remove your mask the whole time you are seated- this applies to both inside and outside seating.
We have marked out our entry and exit doors to avoid doorways becoming a pinch point. Please follow the signs around the pub to ensure minimal unnecessary contact with other guests.
As table service is compulsory, we will not be taking orders or payments anywhere except at your table. Please do not approach the bar- our team are happy to talk you through our range of drinks- and if you do need to leave the table to use the toilet or pop to the car then please wear a mask and follow the one way system. All guests must remain seated at all times when eating and drinking, and please do not leave your table to talk to guests seated elsewhere.
Be prepared to check in with the NHS app when you arrive- all guests over the age of 16 must do this. If you don't have the app then let our team know and we will take your details manually. Failure to check in may result in refusal of service.
We know wearing a mask and not being able to chat to your friends at another table is frustrating, but we are just following the rules to keep everybody safe! Please be understanding that this is a different way of working for us and service may take longer during busy periods as our team have to follow extra precautions at this time.
